As such, MTI protects the privacy of its members and affiliates. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol on our websites, which secures the connection for data transmission between the user and website’s server. Security measures such as metal detectors, luggage x-rays, and random checks in airports and other transport terminals are taken for your protection. Security officers are ever vigilant against bomb threats and other forms of terrorist attacks. Please pay attention to airport rules and regulations of the country you will be visiting. Except for stateless persons and those from countries with which the Philippines has no diplomatic relations, all visitors may enter the country without visas and may stay for 21 days provided they have tickets for onward journey. Holders of Hong Kong and Taiwan passports must have special permits. Visas and special permits may be obtained from Philippine embassies and consulates. AIRPORT INFORMATION Airport and Facilities: Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is 7 kms. from the city center, while the Manila Domestic Airport is one kilometer from the NAIA. The international airports have adequate traveler facilities: duty-free and souvenir shops, tourist information and assistance counters, hotel and travel agency representatives, car rental services, banks and automated teller machines, postal service, national and international direct dial telephone booths, medical clinics, and baggage deposit areas. Facilities for the Physically-Handicapped: The airports are handicapped-friendly. Wheelchairs are available on request from the airline ground staff. Customs: Visitors are advised to fill in the Baggage Declaration Form before disembarking to facilitate Customs examination. The following are allowed duty-free: reasonable quantity of clothes, jewelry, and toiletries; 400 sticks of cigarettes or two tins of tobacco; two bottles of wine or spirits of not more than one liter each. Porterage: Baggage carts are available for free. Porter services are also free. Tipping is traditional. TURKEY – Visitor Information (http://www.e-konsolosluk.net/homepage.aspx) ENTRY REGULATIONS USA - CITIZENS ONLY A visa is required for all U.S. citizens entering Turkey. U.S. citizens may obtain their visas upon entry point in Turkey or in advance from one of the Turkish Consulates around the U.S. Please see the Jurisdiction list of the Turkish Consulates [ Link to: http://www.tourismturkey.org/show_embassy_counsulates.asp?gr4=y&mv4=y&bg1=trip&bg2=trip] for your state. Application for a business visa must be done ahead of time, before entering Turkey. The tourist visa is valid for a year starting from the issue date. There are two different visa types. With a single entry visa, you can enter Turkey only once and stay up to three months. Multiple entry visa, on the other hand allows you to enter and exit the country more than once within one year period specified on your passport and you can stay in Turkey for three months each time. Visas given at entry points are valid only for three months. Therefore, visas must be obtained in advance for visits lasting longer stays and for study, research or employment purposes. The passengers who do not leave the international airports do not need any visas. CANADIAN CITIZENS Canadian Citizens can obtain a multiple-entry sticker visa at the Turkish International Border Gates to stay in Turkey for a maximum period of three months. If the planned stay exceeds three months or the individual intends to study, work or be engaged in any kind of gainful employment in Turkey, visa must be obtained in advance by applying personally to Turkish Embassy in Ottawa. NON-U.S. CITIZENS Non-U.S Citizens need to have to apply for their tourist or business visas in advance BEFORE going to Turkey. Applicants should directly contact a Turkish Consulate in person, by mail or by a courier service. Visa fees are non-refundable and subject to change without notice. Requirements for Visa 1. Original passport valid for at least 6 months 2. Correct visa fee 3. Two passport size photographs (5 photographs in case of Pakistani Nationals) 4. Supporting documents, where necessary 5. ** Include England, Wales and Scotland Citizens holding valid passports from the following countries are exempt from all visa requirements for stays of 30 days in Costa Rica, though once inside the country, they can apply for extension from the Immigration office, for an authorized period of stay of 90 days: Antigua and Barbuda, Belice, Bolivia, Dominica, El Salvador, Russian Federation, Phillipines, Fiji, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Northern Marianas, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Maldives, Mauritius, Federated States Of Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Kingdom Of Tonga, Samoa, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Saint Vincent And The Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Sao Tome And Principe, Seychelles, Suriname, Tuvalu, Turkey, Vanuatu and Venezuela. Citizens of all countries not listed above are required a visa from a Costa Rican embassy or consulate before traveling. As in most of the countries, in order to visit Costa Rica, the traveler must show his or her passport. The passport must be valid during the following 6 months from the entry date to Costa Rica. THAILAND – Visitor Information (http://www.tourismthailand.org/travel-information/travel-information-75-1.html) ENTRY REGULATION As a general rule, any foreigner seeking entry into the Kingdom of Thailand for business, investment, study, medical treatment, mass media, religion, employment and other purposes is required to apply for a visa from a Thai Embassy or Consulate-General. To do so, a foreigner must possess a valid passport or travel document that is recognized by the Royal Thai Government and comply with the conditions set forth in the Immigration Act B.E.2522 (1979) and its related provisions. Duty Free Allowance
The duty free allowance will be applied to accompanied personal effects up to Bath 10,000 worth if i) the items are intended for your own personal or professional uses; ii) the quantity are reasonable; and iii) the items are not subject to prohibition or restriction. 
However, there are limits on the amount of alcoholic beverages, cigarettes, cigars and smoking tobacco to which you may include in your duty free personal exemption as follows: • 200 cigarettes or 250 grams of cigars or smoking tobacco • 1 litre of spirituous liquor.
